just like a woman I'm Raine, and I love music, adventures, guitars, folk, blues, harmony, travelling, learning. Musicians who make me fall in love for a new reason everyday; Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen. Cosiness, dreams, and long rides in moonlit fields. And somewhat surprisingly, I'm from England, not Northern California. Want to learn more?

fare thee well I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit Revolution Blues, and I really hope you enjoyed your visit. :) If you have any questions at all, from to point of fanlistings to my webdesign to the reasons why Bob Dylan still isn't married (who knows?), please feel free to contact me. I created all the graphics and CSS styles here, with hours and months of happy time, dedication and love - the designs being based on my personal dreams - so please do not steal or directly copy. *poke*
Hello! My name is Raine, and welcome to RevolutionBlues.org, my fanlisting collective! :D Revolution Blues is my little baby of a place, and houses all of my current, upcoming, pending and joined fanlistings. But, "what is a fanlisting?!" I hear you cry? Well, here is my explanation:
A "fanlisting" is a dinky little website where you create an online list of fans of a certain subject. The concept became an online phenomenon with TheFanlistings.org. I have fanlistings ranging from musicians such as Neil Young, to the whole historical 1960s era, to men with long hair - and many more! So, fanlisting subjects can be extremely wide-ranging, act as indicators of your love for a subject, and is also a great way to meet other fans!
So there we go! And, I believe everyone should be aware that Revolution Blues was given to me as a gift by everyone's wonderful friend and one of my life-friends, the gonkalicious Kya :) ♥ And I'm forever grateful to her, because I love sharing my world with you all - the moon, love, freedom of imagination, happiness, creation, rolling fields, harmony, and music - while you discover fanlistings with me. :) Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
fanlisting and domain updates the emperor of wyoming
Here are my fanlisting and website updates, with the occasional personal update.
friday, 16th may 2008I'm absolutely mad and squished this in while trying to revise ethical issues in Developmental Psychology, and listening to Joan (1967): the gorgeous Crosby, Stills, Nash (& Young) were next in line for a pretty subdomain URL (http://csny.revolutionblues.org) and just a general Spring cleaning (including a new name - Love The One You're With) :D
wednesday, 14th may 2008Burst of energy during the exam period: I finally added song and album favourite fields to the delumptious Bruce Springsteen fanlisting, and also finally gave the fanlisting its own subdomain URL (http://theboss.revolutionblues.org)! :D Moved form to TFL = all sent!
tuesday, 13th may 2008Yay! I was approved over at TFL to cross-list Neil Young as Bernard Shakey into the Directors/Producers category! :D So, I've added a "favourite movie" field to the fanlisting, as well as adjusted the text a little to make sure it matches the Bernard Shakey role too.
sunday, 11th may 2008A thought popped into my head the other day and so I followed it robotically: I've just applied to cross-list dearest Neil Young (I should really stop talking about him so much around here) into the Directors/Producers category over at TheFanlistings.org, as Bernard Shakey!
friday, 2nd may 2008Hello May! Annnd, here is a long-overdue new layout at RevolutionBlues.org - after a year and a half of being opened. :O So, there's no more of my previously difficult to read / horrible black contrast layout (although I loved the twinkling stars and glowing moon, of course) - bring on the bright colours, happy bright sunset fields and guitars and moonshine! :D I'm very proud and happy with this layout, because I wanted to create something I felt in my "Freedom and Happy Rolling Fields" dreams, especially listening to certain Neil Young songs, and this felt perfect. :D
