| index page As Neil Young would sing, "get back to the country, back where it all began" - or in other words, go back to the homepage. |
just like a woman I'm Raine, and I love music, adventures, guitars, folk, blues, harmony, travelling, learning. Musicians who make me fall in love for a new reason everyday; Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen. Cosiness, dreams, and long rides in moonlit fields. And somewhat surprisingly, I'm from England, not Northern California. Want to learn more?

fare thee well I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit Revolution Blues, and I really hope you enjoyed your visit. :) If you have any questions at all, from to point of fanlistings to my webdesign to the reasons why Bob Dylan still isn't married (who knows?), please feel free to contact me. I created all the graphics and CSS styles here, with hours and months of happy time, dedication and love - the designs being based on my personal dreams - so please do not steal or directly copy. *poke*
I'm Raine, nineteen years old; perhaps a bit idealistic in character, but I'm always craving for communal harmony, and new adventures and education. Meeting and understanding new people; spying on the moon and feeling silky guitar chords with my fingers.

Over my shortish life I've moulded a personal view that something can be thrown at or handed to you, and eventually you respond to it. There's just a continuous feeling in the back of my head, "this is happening for a reason, and it's my attitude to it that matters most - not just the event itself."
I like to think I am outspoken about my beliefs, but of course I'm always discovering what I believe in. It's like building a mini mind-empire - there's always varying change and stability. I'm not well read enough to support every claim. In such a society as today, I often feel overwhelmed with information and opportunity, so it's hard not to feel like you're lagging behind. But I read, listen and go to the things I believe are important.
I want to live, I want to give; I've been a miner for a heart of gold. It's these expressions I never give, that keep me searching for a heart of gold... I've been in my mind, [and] it's such a fine line that keeps me searching for a heart of gold. [Neil Young, "Heart of Gold"]
In less worldly terms, let's talk about music. It is my most adored form of creative media, and has drawn together, shaped, and accompanied my life since my early teens, and so all my changing perspectives and experiences. Daily in love with Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen, who I bury daily into, like you would into an enormous treasure cave, overflowing with world jewels: be they deeply rainbowing and exotic, or the rarest, simplest common jewels.
Blah blah, introverted but with certain distinct extrovert tendencies, blah blah, thinks an awful lot but rarely gets headaches. Good ol' neurons! (Funny that just after I uploaded this, I got a case of sinusitus with killer headaches).
Things I don't like: peanuts, moths, natural circles (like burnt spots... cue my itching and squirming), injustice, negative prejudice and discrimination.
